Our site opens to rallyists at 12 noon. Start your weekend with lunch, tea and coffee from the Catering bar from 1pm. Fill your belly by choosing something yummy from the kitchen.
Then enjoy two great, local bands, carefully selected to make sure your ears are left ringing up to midnight in the marquee, first band on from 7.00pm, second band on from 10.00pm. Bar opens at 2pm and closes at midnight.
The day begins with a strong coffee and some hangover-curing grub from the kitchen from 8a.m. There is plenty of choice and even something for vegetarians!
Enjoy a hot shower in the Newton St. Cyres recreation ground's club facilities, then you're ready to face another day of motorcycle merriment! The showers and loos will be open all weekend.
From 10.45 to 1.00pm why not join us on our ride out across the beautiful Devon countryside? You'll be back in time for the Bike Show and there is always a fuel stop nearby and a meeting point halfway for a short pit stop, before heading back to the rally. Each year the ride covers about 40 miles, at a laid back pace allowing you a relaxing ride and a chance to soak up the lovely sweeping curvy roads and stunning surroundings. The ride-out is run by experienced marshalls, so you can be sure it well organised and safe as we can make it.
Stalls will be open early so please support them with a visit and a trinket to remember your weekend.
The free to enter bike show kicks off at 2pm. The show is open to general public visitors and entrants, so even if you can't make it for the weekend, show what you brought and you could still win a trophy in one of our Ten categories, the results are drawn at 4.30pm along with the raffle prizes
We always have some great raffle prizes, so it is well worth entering. Prizes usually include hundreds of pounds-worth of pairs of tyres, crash helmets, clothing, hand-made leather belts, maintenace items, musical items, drinks, vouchers and many other great prizes.> Tickets are just £1 per strip, the results are drawn at 4.30pm after the bike show trophy winner's results. Remember - you have to be in it to win it!"
Also during afternoon we will be serving barbeque food, which is always popular. The bar is open from 12 noon until midnight on Saturday. "Tea, coffee and food will be available throughout the day."
The bands kick off again in the marquee from 7.00pm. Second band will start from 10.00pm until midnight, that's 5 hours of rocking to be getting on with!
The rally weekend finishes with another visit to the club house for a breakfast, a hot tea or coffee etc.
The site is closed to visitors from 12noon.
When leaving the site at Newton St. Cyres at the junction with the A377, riders can turn left to get back to Exeter or right towards Crediton. Please remember that we are based in a small village and we ask all rallyists to respect the locality and our neighbours by riding well within speed limits and to take special care to watch out for pedestrians and other vehicles in the narrow lanes and roads around the site.
A lot of effort each year goes into trying to bring you the best rally we can. Given the regular faces we see each year, I guess we are doing a good job!
